RAY-BAN SCANDEL TO EFFECT PARTNERSHIP WITH BLACKOUT SUNGLASSES


May 16, 2011-Minneapolis, Minnesota- Last Friday information regarding to a potential embezzlement scandal involving Ray-Ban sunglasses was leaked to Newsweek magazine. BlackOut Sunglasses announced their partnership with Ray-Ban sunglasses two weeks prior has backed away in fear of any potential embezzlement. 

In response to this scandal, Ray-Ban sunglasses are expected to do a company wide investigation to find anyone else involved. In response, BlackOut Sunglasses announced in Newsweek that they have decided to continue with their Kick off to Summer event later this month with Tom Ford and the Association for the Blind, and now partnered with Oakley Inc. to create a more active-friendly line of sunglasses.

Kick off the summer with Tom Ford and BlackOut Sunglasses


Minneapolis, Minnesota-May 11, 2011-BlackOut Sunglasses is proud to announce our designer line of sunglasses featuring Tom Ford and RayBan. Because BlackOut Sunglasses is so excited about this new line they are hosting an event with the Association for the Blind on Memorial Day to kick off summer and to preview the new line that will be available mid June. This event will take place at the Lake Calhoun & the Calhoun Beach Club in Minneapolis from 3pm-10pm.
            At this special preview event we are saluting to summer by grilling and games on Lake Calhoun as well as hosting a boating contest. Here guests can officially preview and experience BlackOut Sunglasses and the technology associated.  We also encourage guests to take part in the other amenities that Lake Calhoun offers as well. After having fun in the sun, the party will go inside the Calhoun Beach Club where there will be an open bar as well as appetizers where there will be a silent auction where the proceeds will go directly to the Association for the Blind. Here guests will be able to preview the Tom Ford and RayBan sunglasses as well able to bid on select frames.
            At this event BlackOut Sunglasses are targeting men and women who are single or married, 25-50 years old, with an income (combine) of $100,000-$150,000+ a year. This market lives in Wayzata, Bloomington, or Golden Valley areas and commutes to downtown Minneapolis or St. Paul for work.
            BlackOut Sunglasses is a unique product in which consumers can change the polarization of their sunglasses to their desired setting at a press of a button. The BlackOut sunglasses boutique will open in the Gaviidae Commons mall in Minneapolis later this month.

New technology in the sunglasses industry with the release BlackOut Sunglasses.

Minneapolis, Minnesota – April 18, 2011 – Sunglass fans alike will be delighted in learning that there is new technology developed in personalizing their experience with BlackOut sunglasses boutique in the Gaviidae Commons in downtown Minneapolis.

Owner, Becca, is excited to open the boutique with the innovative technology developed by BlackOut sunglasses. BlackOut sunglasses are technologically advanced and modern take on regular, unvarying sunglasses.

BlackOut sunglasses is a new way to personalize your sunglass with each use, by having the capability to automatically change the degree of polarization to the desired setting by a press of a button. These advanced sunglasses will be accompanied by their own case as well as an optional warranty.  The boutique will have a testing room available to test out each pair of glasses and to learn about the new technology as well as a help and repair center to better reach the needs of the audience. Also available will be prescription glasses with the technology, jewelry and other accessories as well as black and white outdoor themed artwork for sale that is on display.

BlackOut sunglasses will also have available an interactive website where potential clients will be able to upload a photo of themselves and be able to virtually try different designs available. These products, as well as all of the products available will be packaged in 50% recycled material in our effort to help reduce the amount of waste produced in packaging these items.

BlackOut sunglasses are unique in that it can reach many varying markets. They are different from other varying polarization lenses in that it is fast in getting what your shade, when you want it without the wait.
