May 23, 2011-Minneapolis, Minnesota- BlackOut Sunglasses has teamed up with the Association for the Blind and Jeffrey Donovan of USA’s Burn Notice to honor National ultraviolet awareness month (May). BlackOut Sunglasses, the Association for the Blind and Donovan will continue to honor this cause by sponsoring an event before the Twins game against the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday May 29th starting at 11:30am. During the game all of the Twins players will be wearing a pair of BlackOut Sunglasses.
At this event adults and kids alike can donate $5 to meet and play catch with the players, as well as enjoy in some on field activities and competitions in which all of the proceeds will go directly to the Association for the Blind. Exposure to UV rays can burn delicate eye tissue and raise the risk of developing cataracts and cancers of the eye.
BlackOut sunglasses are unique in that it can reach many varying markets. They are different from other varying polarization lenses in that it is fast in getting what your shade, when you want it without the wait.
